In our last video we shared some challenges faced while trying to pick up our new bus in New Jersey.

We hope this newsletter finds you well and enjoying the last days of summer! We’ve had an eventful few months and are thrilled to share some exciting announcements and stories from our latest adventures. Here are the highlights In this video.

A Bittersweet Farewell

Back in March, we asked for your prayers for our neighbor, Jim, and his family. We’re saddened to share that Jim passed away. His memorial service in Quartzsite was a touching tribute, and it was an honor to support his wife, Gretchen, during such a difficult time.

Unexpected Delays Turned Blessings

Our extended stay in Quartzsite led to two incredible opportunities: helping a Arizona Christian camp prepare for its opening and taking a quick trip to Minnesota to install our dock (saving us a $500!).

Memorial Services from Quartzsite to Bodega Bay

After Jim’s service in Quartzsite, we felt called to help Gretchen with another memorial in Bodega Bay, where Jim and Gretchen spent most of their lives before retiring. It turned out to be a beautiful journey that truly highlighted the reasons we live this nomadic lifestyle.

Exciting Announcements

We’ve got some thrilling news to share:

  1. We Bought a New Bus!🚌 You might have guessed this, but yes, we found it! We’ll share a video tour soon, so stay tuned.
  2. Meet Daisy!🐾 We’ve added a new member to our family—a sweet pup named Daisy. She’s been a wonderful addition, and Franky now has a new friend!

Summer Adventures & Family Feasts

The end of July was spent relaxing family and serving communities. From Lia’s parents’ place to a family fun fest in North Dakota with JD’s parents, and even hosting a worship night, it’s been a restful time filled with connection.

Prayer Requests

As we transition into our new bus, please join us in prayer for:

  1. The sale of our beloved Silver Eagle bus to the right person.
  2. Wisdom and clarity for the renovations and adjustments needed in our new bus.
  3. Smooth logistics during this transition phase.
