In our January video we braved unexpected flash flooding and burned a massive brush pile.

February and March were especially rewarding. In this video we had our biggest solar install yet, and made many home improvements to the clubhouse while we enjoyed visits from both JD and Lia’s parents. We also faced some challenges while trying to pick up our new bus in New Jersey, and enjoyed a vacation in Winterhaven California.

Here’s a rundown of exactly what we cover in this video:

  • Massive Solar Install: JD took on the biggest solar install he’s done by himself for a family with young kids They quickly became good friends as we shared deeper conversations over dinners and bonfires.
  • Home Improvement: Starting with tractor work to prevent rainwater runoff to installing new countertops and a gas stove, we have been busy improving the property and clubhouse to make it more functional in preparation for a 10 day visit with JD’s parents and future guests.
  • Fitting in: While participating in a Fulltime Family Rally in Winter Haven, CA we made new friends, renewed old RV family connections, played in the pool, relived history on a field trip to the historical Yuma Prison, and also enjoyed a pizza party from a family with a mission to give away 50 pizzas in all 50 states.
  • Fascinating Air Show: Lia’s parents 12 day visit included the Yuma air show with incredible displays of military aviation, her dad Gary, building a beautiful island countertop, and countless short trips to share with them all the sights of Quartzsite.
  • Unexpected Bus Adventure: A trip to New Jersey to pick up our new bus took an unexpected turn, revealing a deep trust in God’s guidance and discovered silver linings in challenging situations.
  • Local Celebrations and Art Recognition: Gibson and Maverick’s art entries in the local show during Buck Connors Western Days brought them surprising wins, adding a touch of achievement and community pride.

Prayer Requests

  • Pray for wisdom with the hunt for a new bus, as we shelf the hunt for a few months.
  • Our neighbors here in AZ. One neighbor, the husband has been having health issues and is nearing the end of his life. Prayers for peace and wisdom for him and his family during this time. He is a believer.
  • Another neighbor has been having sever neck pain and headaches. Please pray for complete healing.
  • Prayers for wisdom as we plan out trip back up to MN in a month or so.
